Interim Payroll Manager

We are seeking an Interim Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing during a temporary engagement. This individual will serve as a key resource for payroll compliance and process management.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll processing; Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations; Review payroll reconciliations and reporting; Address payroll inquiries and discrepancies; Partner with HR and Finance on payroll-related matters; Support payroll audits and year-end activities; Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years of payroll experience; Experience managing multi-state payroll; Knowledge of payroll tax regulations; Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Workday, or Paycom; Strong analytical and organizational skills
