IT Business Analyst

Alten is a global leader in engineering and IT consulting, driving innovation across industries such as aerospace, automotive, energy, and digital transformation. The role focuses on assessing requirements, carrying out functional design, validating overviews, managing relations with key stakeholders, and managing projects. Daily work covers requirements building with Product Management, customer liaison, level 4 support and maintenance, product design and specifications, project coordination, QA test plan sign-off, and release sign-off and risk assessment. Project responsibilities ramp up gradually depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain and share the functional knowledge of processes, services and end user products; Analyze business requirements submitted by Product Management or customers; Size specification and validation work; Write Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents, Product Specifications and User guides; Present functional walk-throughs to stakeholders; Interface with relevant divisions and departments to ensure functional compatibility; Contribute to innovation and product evolution; Validate the product and give sign off; Investigate, validate and prioritize reported production incidents; Provide inputs for the test strategy and defect investigation; Interface and communicate with Product Management, Project management and Development teams; Interface with internal or external customers during requirements, specification and implementation phases; Propose actions and processes for adoption of solutions; Follow up project risks and report to Management/Stakeholders; Provide visibility on project progress; Carry the strategic vision for the solution; Help build the Statement of Requirement and sign it off; Provide level 4 support and maintenance on delivered functionalities; Design the product or feature and write its specifications; Coordinate project phases with stakeholders (development, QA, etc.); Review and sign off QA test plan; Be part of release sign-off and risk assessment

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
