IT Intern

Under close supervision, follows documented and standardized procedures to diagnose and troubleshoot incoming employee calls. Provides support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access. Provides timely resolution of less complex problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel.

Responsibilities

Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems; Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support; Organize and maintain IT resources; Lend IT support in areas such as active directory, analytics, and data center management; Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major; Familiar with Office 365, Microsoft Server 2019 and up, Linux, and various Windows versions; Strong verbal and written communication; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work well in teams; Strong work ethic and attention to detail; Good people skills; Provide IT support to all employees with respect and professionalism; Ability to prioritize multiple projects while working proactively to avoid foreseeable issues; Completing tasks with a sense of urgency; Self-motivated; Detail oriented; Ability to work independently; Positive outlook; Willingness to work collaboratively with others
