IT Systems Administrator

As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and improving our IT systems, troubleshooting issues, and delivering high-quality support to colleagues. Responsibilities

Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and other IT systems; Provide timely and effective technical support to users across various departments; Implement system upgrades, patches, and backups to keep infrastructure secure and efficient; Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve IT issues; Assist in IT projects aimed at improving our systems and processes; Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures; Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices

Requirements

Proven experience in IT systems administration or a similar role; Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, networking, and system security; Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team; Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner; A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop new technical skills; Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent practical experience; Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network protocols; Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues; Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices; Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure; Excellent teamwork and communication skills; Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Nice to have

Experience with backup solutions, virtualization, and cloud technologies
