Nelson Mullins is seeking a Junior Corporate Communications Associate to join its Communications, Internet, Technology & Privacy group in the Washington, DC office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a dynamic and growing team.

Requirements

Up to 2 years of experience in communications law; Accepting May 2026 graduate applicants; Admitted to, or eligible for admission to, the Bar of the District of Columbia; Keen interest in internet dependent technologies and business models; Experience working on an array of subject matters, including telecommunications and broadband; Excellent writing, analytical, advocacy, and interpersonal communication skills; Ability to work in a team environment; Intellectually curious nature and growth mindset; Ability to serve a diverse group of clients ranging from start-ups to industry leaders; Excitement to practice law in Washington, D.C. and contribute to work before the FCC, federal law enforcement agencies, state regulatory agencies, Congress, and the United States courts

Nice to have

Experience in consumer protection related issues such as telemarketing, data privacy and cybersecurity
