About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Export Control Officer to join our Export Control Compliance Organisation supporting Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.

This is a development role designed for individuals with a background in compliance, legal, audit, governance, risk management, regulatory affairs, due diligence, or business law who are looking to build a specialist career in international trade compliance and export controls.

Reporting to the Export Control Officer Country Lead, you will support the delivery of export control and sanctions compliance activities across the business while undertaking a structured professional development programme. Previous export control experience is not required, as comprehensive training, mentoring, and study support will be provided.

Requirements

A minimum of a 2:1 Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in one of the following disciplines:; Law; Business Law; Compliance; Governance; Risk Management; Regulatory Affairs; International Business; Or another relevant discipline; Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.; Excellent attention to detail.; Ability to interpret legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.; Strong organisational and time-management skills.; Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different functions and levels of the organisation.; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.; High ethical standards and a commitment to compliance and integrity.
