Lead Finance Analyst

Scopely is seeking an experienced Lead Finance Analyst/Manager to join Product Finance in support of our LIVE Games Portfolio — a group of live-operated, top-grossing mobile games generating meaningful revenue for Scopely. This is a senior, high-visibility role for someone ready to operate as a true finance business partner: owning financial models end-to-end, driving KPI and performance reporting, and initiating the projects that shape how the portfolio is managed. Based out of our Barcelona office, you will partner directly with General Managers and cross-functional stakeholders across game studios, User Acquisition, Data Science and Finance leadership, Accounting, and central teams. You will be a key voice in portfolio-level decision-making, translating data and models into clear recommendations for senior leadership. Unlike an entry-level analyst role, this position calls for someone who can operate with a high degree of autonomy — identifying problems, initiating and leading projects, and managing senior stakeholders across the organization with minimal oversight, while still delivering the operational rigor (forecasting, close support, variance analysis) that keeps the portfolio running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting for titles within the LIVE Games Portfolio; Drive KPI and performance reporting; Initiate projects that shape how the portfolio is managed; Partner directly with General Managers and cross-functional stakeholders across game studios, User Acquisition, Data Science, Finance leadership, Accounting, and central teams; Translate data and models into clear recommendations for senior leadership; Manage recurring monthly and quarterly deliverables including forecasting, close support, and variance analysis; Serve as the primary finance point of contact for a broad set of cross-functional partners; Lead process improvement and automation projects such as forecasting model redesigns, KPI dashboard builds, and reporting infrastructure; Collaborate daily with teams across the US, EMEA, and beyond

Requirements

5+ years in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or strong analytical roles; Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain complex revenue, UA, and cost models and translate large datasets into clear KPI narratives; Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders across functions, build consensus, and influence decisions without direct authority; Track record of scoping and driving cross-functional projects to completion; Strong understanding of KPIs that drive live-service/mobile games businesses (e.g., DAU/MAU, ARPDAU, LTV, ROAS, retention) and how they connect to financial performance; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Based in, or willing to relocate to, Barcelona, with flexibility to collaborate across time zones with US and global teams; Genuine interest in games, consumer products, or technology-driven businesses

Nice to have

Exposure to gaming, mobile apps, subscription, or consumer tech business models; Familiarity with BI and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker); Familiarity with financial planning systems (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning); SQL is a plus
