Lead Operator

Supervises employees using machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line.

Responsibilities

Ensure EHS & Q compliance while operating complex systems, adjusting processes to optimize quality and productivity; Responsible for carrying out new product trials and for generating solutions to complex inefficiencies; Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area; Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance routines; Contribute data and information to production plans; Run reports, check accuracy, and distribute information; Help to install complex systems, implement procedures, and conduct inspections of equipment with guidance

Requirements

High School Diploma with 5 years' experience or more in manufacturing; Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems; 1-2 years' experience of coordinating the work of others; Independently plans, organizes, prioritizes, and oversees activities to efficiently meet business objectives while providing technical guidance as needed; Communicates clearly and effectively to express ideas, request actions, develop plans, and create or review concise, effective reports; Develops and executes appropriate plans and actions based on business recommendations, requirements, and organizational needs; Manages safe work systems and develops, monitors, and interprets policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational strategies and objectives
