Lead Product Manager/Producer, Mobile Games

Scopely is looking for a Lead Product Manager/ Lead Producer to join an unannounced title based in our Shanghai office (5 days in the office). We welcome candidates with backgrounds as Lead Producer, Senior Producer, Live Producer, Product Owner, or equivalent game leadership roles who have demonstrated ownership of product strategy, player experience, and business outcomes. We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious mobile game in China, and we’re assembling a team of passionate game makers to craft unforgettable characters and immersive adventures that players will love.

Responsibilities

Define product ownership: strategize about the product roadmap and design scope; Communicate: influence and persuade project teams, convince company leadership and external partners; Prioritize: figure out possible impact of potential work and weigh it against the effort required; Call your shots: understand the right amount of data needed to forecast impact, ensure work is measured, and ship work delivering against goals; Execute: do whatever it takes to help the team ship

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Product Management; Product Manager/Producer for multiple mobile free-to-play products; Expert-level knowledge of mobile free-to-play games, their relevant audiences, and the Chinese gaming industry; Experience owning publishing strategy and launching mobile games in the Chinese market; Experience working with international teams and IP holders; English as working language
