Lead Psychologist

Lead Psychologist for a specialist mental health service catering to men who are deaf and have complex communication needs.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group psychological interventions; Conduct diagnostic and cognitive assessments, risk assessments, and create detailed reports; Supervise and mentor a team of Psychologists and Assistants; Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and hospital governance; Develop new clinical initiatives and contribute to service improvement; Deliver a variety of therapeutic approaches like CBT, EMDR, and DBT.

Requirements

HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist and charterable status with the British Psychological Society; Doctorate-level qualification in applied psychology; Experience in working with complex needs and trauma; Competence in assessments, formulations, and therapeutic interventions.
