Legal Counsel (Strategic Transactions)

The legal team at Fever supports sustainable growth across functions and geographies. The role involves advising on corporate transactions, particularly joint ventures and co-investments, within the Corporate / M&A team, reporting directly to the Lead Counsel. The position is based at Fever's global headquarters in Madrid, Spain, with the expectation of relocation to Madrid if currently living elsewhere.

Responsibilities

Drafting and reviewing joint venture and co-investment agreements and ancillary transactional documents; Providing support to business teams and Management in negotiations, from initial analysis to execution of any transaction; Coordinating and prioritizing work with external legal advisors; Preparing / revising internal templates, guides, and knowledge management documents, and taking responsibility for document management; Assisting with general corporate governance for the entire Fever group; Participating in ongoing compliance functions as required; Participating in the upskilling, support and growth of other team members

Requirements

Barred / practising lawyer (corporate or law firm); At least 4 years PQE in corporate transactions, including complex partnerships; Speak fluent English with a command of legal English; Excellent academic record or experience in top-notch companies or top-tier law firms; Keen attention to detail; Strong financial and commercial awareness; Strong technical skills and enjoys stepping into new territory; Effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work

Nice to have

M&A experience; Experience in media / entertainment; Fluency in Spanish (preferred)
