Legal Engineer - Tax & Consulting

This role is part legal ops, part product specialist, part solutions architect, and part client whisperer. Your mission is to help our clients, some of the most sophisticated tax and legal advisory teams in the world, get the absolute most out of our platform.

Responsibilities

Acting as a thought partner to tax partners, legal advisory leaders, and consulting teams; Working together with Go To Market and Customer Success in taking full ownership of client relationships; Being the voice of tax and legal advisory users inside Legora; Delivering clear, confident product demos and training; Documenting best practices from leading professional services firms; Helping tax and legal advisory teams navigate AI-driven shifts in professional services

Requirements

Background in law or tax; Experience at a Big 4 firm or leading professional services practice; Tech-curious and product-savvy; Ability to navigate technical conversations around generative AI, technology implementation, innovation and productivity; Clear, confident communication with diverse stakeholders; Ability to translate across disciplines; Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and energy to complexity; Understanding of how to evaluate and improve existing processes using new technologies; Proactive, self-directed, comfortable juggling multiple client relationships; Caring deeply about quality without getting stuck in perfectionism; Understanding of commercial realities of professional services

Nice to have

Exposure to multiple service lines, jurisdictions, or innovation initiatives; Experience in legal operations, innovation, or technology implementation within a professional services environment; Experience in legal tech or consultancy helping advisory teams modernize and scale
