Due to the rural nature of our communities and the need to support clients with outings, appointments and social activities, we are ideally seeking applicants with a full UK driving licence and who have access to a reliable vehicle insured for business use.

We are seeking experienced, compassionate and proactive Live-In Carers to support clients living in some of the most picturesque parts of South Devon.

We proudly offer £1050 per week (£150 a day) plus a daily food allowance - significantly above standard live-in care rates . Plus:

Responsibilities

Two-weeks-on / two-weeks-off rota (flexibility available); Ten-hour working days with a two-hour daily break; Regular handovers to ensure continuity of care; Ongoing, long-term opportunities; Well-matched client placements; Support from our dedicated local operations team; 24/7 support from the moment you join; No-uniform policy to encourage natural, relationship-led care; PPE provided; Paid training; Mileage and travel paid when using car for client purposes; Providing companionship and emotional support; Assisting with personal care; Supporting with medication; Preparing nutritious meals; Completing general household duties; Supporting clients with outings and appointments; Recording daily activities and reporting changes in wellbeing using our care app; Maintaining regular communication with your line manager and office team; Recognising and escalating concerns appropriately to ensure client safety and wellbeing

Requirements

Proven experience in live-in care; A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach; Confidence working independently in a live-in environment; Ability to build strong, trusting relationships; Strong understanding of person-centred care; Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred; A minimum of two years' experience in live-in care is preferred; Experience supporting people living with dementia is highly desirable; Must have the Right to Work in the UK; Ideally hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle; Confident using a mobile app for care documentation and communication; An enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service would be advantageous
