Responsibilities

Diagnose, treat and manage urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones and prostate issues; Perform various surgical interventions including cystoscopies, nephrectomies and prostatectomies; Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans; Provide consultation services to other members of the medical team regarding critically ill patients; Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options and post-care management strategies; Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school; Residency training program in urology accredited by ACGME or AOA; Fellowship training in a urology specialty may be required; Board certification in urology by ABU or AOBS; Active and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania; 1 year experience; ACLS; BLS; Strong expertise in performing a range of both surgical and non-surgical urological procedures; Excellent communication skills to explain complex medical information to patients; Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex urological conditions; Flexibility to adapt to new work environments and different medical teams
