Machine Cleaner

The Machine Cleaner is responsible for using approved detergents and sanitation methods to clean and sanitize processing and packaging equipment, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for the production of quality food products.

Responsibilities

Cleaning manufacturing equipment, production tools, and floors; Using approved detergents and sanitation methods to clean and sanitize processing and packaging equipment; Ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for the production of quality food products; Performing plant cleaning tasks as outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule; Maintaining general housekeeping standards throughout the facility; Working independently; Developing working knowledge of production areas

Requirements

Safe operation of powered cleaning equipment; Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet; Ability to work in subzero temperatures; Ability to perform tasks in confined spaces; Learning and following proper Allergen Elimination Procedures; Working on some holidays; Ability to work 5:30 P.M. to 5:30 A.M. 12-hour rotating shifts

Nice to have

High School Diploma or GED; 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment
