Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Avery Dennison is looking for a versatile team player to join our finishing center operations. In this role, you will ensure our high-quality products are perfectly packed, labeled, and prepared to meet exact customer specifications. Shift: 1st Shift, 5:30am - 2:00pm, M-F.

Responsibilities

Precision Assembly & Packaging: Sort, label, and safely package finished rolls to customer specifications and standard practices; Quality Control: Inspect the general appearance of products to protect high standards, and check work carefully at every stage; Team Collaboration: Partner across departments, track multiple active orders, and keep the production line smoothly supplied; Continuous Improvement: Participate in team problem-solving, maintain a clean, organized space, and conduct 5S audits

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience; Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and comfort following written standard operating procedures (SOPs); A collaborative spirit; Adaptability to learn new software applications (like MFG Pro) and a willingness to cross-train on automated machinery over time; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and obtain a Lift Truck Operator's license
