Machine Operator - Fabrication I

Responsibilities

Proficiently operate basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper quality; Develop and maintain an understanding of the products they assemble and how they impact the business; Continuous learning of the principles, practices, and processes of their job as changes require and similar jobs; Safely handle materials utilizing proper lifting techniques, including overhead hoists/lift tables; Communicate hazards and/or equipment issues with leadership; Occasionally provide basic training to employees as needed; Cross train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as needed

Requirements

High school Diploma or equivalent (GED). 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent; Detail oriented and organized; Work in a team environment in a professional manner; Effectively communicate; Utilize applicable hand tools with precision.
