Maintenance Engineer

A leading global manufacturer within the engineering sector is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its high-performing manufacturing operation in Daventry. Working within a specialist machining environment, you’ll become part of a dedicated breakdowns team responsible for maintaining a large range of CNC machine tools and production equipment. Responsibilities

Reactive breakdown maintenance across a wide range of plant machinery; Diagnosing and repairing faults on CNC machine tools; Mechanical maintenance including bearings, ballscrews, leadscrews, spindle checks and measurements; Electrical fault finding and repair; PLC fault finding on Siemens systems; Fault diagnosis on hydraulic and pneumatic systems; Supporting continuous improvement and machine reliability initiatives; Working closely with production to minimise downtime

Requirements

Completed Engineering Apprenticeship (Maintenance Engineering or similar); NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering; Manufacturing or production environment experience; Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills; Experience working on industrial plant machinery
