Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that’s quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.

Responsibilities

Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long term machine reliability; Execution of the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer’s plan to work preventatively in addition to reactively; Use of appropriate root cause analysis tools & 5S; Actively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to engineer out persistent problems; Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance; Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system

Requirements

Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained; Continuous improvement knowledge; Strong knowledge of good engineering standards; Experience in Engineering, manufacturing or production environments
