Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

Part of a small close knit team of X4 engineers; Carry out planned maintenance, reactive fault finding, breakdowns, CI projects; Electrical & mechanical fault finding & repairs; Working on various industrial processing equipment, food production machinery, packaging machinery, conveyors, instrumentation, automation & controls; Ordering spares & parts, via CMMS, contractor control – RAMS, Permits to Work; PLC's, HMi's, DCS & SCADA Systems – electrical fault finding

Requirements

Must have completed a time-served apprenticeship; NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering as minimum; Happy working 1 in 4 Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on-call-rota; Must have worked in manufacturing previously; Electrical & mechanical fault finding & problem solving skills; Comfortable working unsupervised on night shift; PLC, HMi, SCADA Systems – electrical fault finding capabilities; Able to use CMMS to order own spares & parts
