Maintenance Engineer

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, security and structural systems and elements of resort buildings and facilities.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED, supplemented by technical or college course work training in a trade; 2 years of journey-level work in facilities, plant construction, plant operations, or maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; valid driver's license; motor vehicle background check; fluent in English; attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks; must show initiative in job performance; works well in stressful, high-pressure situations; maintains composure and objectivity under pressure; effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns or issues raised by coworkers and/or guests; ability to work independently.

Nice to have

Background with working at a hotel/resort or related is preferred; Licensed in a trade preferred; Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
