Maintenance Supervisor - Mechanical MEP - 3rd Shift

BASIC FUNCTION: The Facilities Mechanical Shift Supervisor is a hands-on tech that will complete service work and repairs, as well as responsible for overseeing the workload of the maintenance techs. The supervisor ensures the quality and efficiency of work being performed.

Responsibilities

Completes maintenance requests submitted by guests or employees for general maintenance issues within the hotel; Completes preventive maintenance on Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) throughout the hotel; Supervises Maintenance Tech ensuring that the team is working efficiently and producing high quality results; Conducts inspections of work performed; Assists with training, motivating and supporting Maintenance Techs; Assists with performance management of Maintenance techs by providing both positive and corrective feedback, recognizing the team with Employee of the Month and on-the-spot recognition, and recommending coaching and disciplinary actions; Responsible for correct use of office equipment, EMS systems and Life Safety Systems (training will be provided)

Requirements

Two years of related experience (i.e., HVAC, Refrigeration, Kitchen, Laundry, etc.); Ability to demonstrate understanding of building systems and equipment such as HVAC equipment, Refrigeration equipment, Kitchen equipment, Laundry equipment; Strong computer skills; Proficient in Microsoft Outlook; Texas Driver's License with good driving record; Must be 21+ years old; Must be able to work weekends and holidays; Availability: 3rd Shift

Nice to have

Vocational or technical training; One year of experience in supervising or leading a team; Knowledge and use of a Service Ticketing system; HotSOS experience; Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams
