Independently perform Senior level support within the maintenance department. Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks. Drives technical, safety, and process improvement efforts using a variety of industry methods.

Responsibilities

Adhere to Abbvie’s code of conduct; Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.; Works closely with Department Reliability Engineering regarding, Maintenance Program development, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis.; May facilitate various workshops.; Considered an SME (subject matter expert) in advanced skilled trade disciplines; Contributes to developing and delivering technical training modules, OJT's, etc.; Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization; Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site; Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations

Requirements

HS diploma with 10+ yrs. experience or College degree, college certificate, or formal apprenticeship and 5+ years of work experience related to skilled trades or other relevant technical degree; CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.; Intermediate skills with MS Windows.; Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e., machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools); Electrical skills and knowledge is require; Knowledgeable in electrical systems up to 3 phase 480V; Can troubleshoot electrical issues down to component level and replace failed components; Can read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
