Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing / Weekend Shift

The Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing is responsible for performing preventive and predictive maintenance on production and paper-converting equipment, troubleshooting technical issues using root cause analysis, and supporting operators with technical guidance. The role requires expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as industrial maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

Consistently demonstrate safe work practices and promote a culture of safety among team members; Perform preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance on process equipment to improve reliability; Troubleshoot equipment and processes; Maintain necessary documentation (drawings, diagrams, bill of materials, etc.) and communicate repairs to others; Participate in improvement projects to reduce maintenance costs and reduce process equipment failures; Work collaboratively with Maintenance and Operations Leadership, Subject Matter Experts, Vendors, Technical representatives and Contractors; Follow a strict Preventive Maintenance Schedule; Report any machine defects identified during PM that cannot be corrected to supervisor; Respond to calls from the production team to restore and/or adjust machines to keep product running at expected rates

Requirements

High School graduate or GED required; 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience; Experience working with a preventive maintenance schedule; Minimum 3 years working with pipefitting, welding, brazing, burring, air compressors/HVAC systems, lathe, drill presses, band saws, hand tools; Knowledge in motor control circuits, AC & DC drives, electrical power distribution, Allen Bradley PLC software, I/O devices, and other industrial electrical systems; Knowledge of maintenance planning process and manufacturing work systems

Nice to have

Technical or College degree preferred; Working with mechanical and electrical blueprints or drawings is a big plus
