Mechanic - 2nd shift - Quincy Plant

Our Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the facilities and manufacturing assets at our Quincy, WA locations for our valued customers. The Maintenance team is comprised of highly qualified Skilled Trades employees, and the equipment they maintain is involved with a wide range of facilities and manufacturing operations. We are looking for a Journeymen level Maintenance Mechanic to support 2nd shift. Our 2nd Shift Hours are 3:30pm–2:00am, Option 1 Monday thru Thursday, or Option 2 Tuesday thru Friday, for a 40 Hour work week, with potential for overtime to support planned or unplanned work. Skilled trades personnel will participate in on-call weekend and holiday coverage in a rotating schedule. This role will be filled as a Mechanic I, II, III or IV, based on background and experience. Responsibilities

Performing preventative maintenance and repairs; Diagnosing/troubleshooting maintenance issues; Performing a variety of maintenance repairs; Welding and fabrication; Diagnosing malfunctions and repairing equipment; Finding root-cause solutions to problems; Working with conveyor, pumping, hydraulic, and compressed air systems; Supporting 2nd shift planned or unplanned work

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience; State of Washington Driver's license; Knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, hydraulics/pneumatics, and building-related repairs; Ability to perform preventative maintenance, installations, diagnose/repair, and troubleshoot equipment

Nice to have

Preference for 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience; Journeyman certificate in a mechanical trade; A demonstrated history of being a dependable and cohesive team member; A willingness to maintain and advance skill level through personal effort and training; Strong attention to detail/safety and a high level of accuracy
