The Mechanical Design Engineer opportunity is located at our research and development facility in Waltham, Massachusetts. Bosch's Waltham facility is made up of 25 engineers, test and measurement laboratories, and a prototype shop, all working on advanced development projects for multiple product areas within the Bosch group.

Responsibilities

Design and develop products for use in automotive thermal systems.; Apply new air moving technologies to application projects.; Develop and improve in-house design and application tools.; Design experiments and apply measurement technologies to quantify part performance.; Design, prototype, and test new designs.

Requirements

BS degree in mechanical, aeronautical or ocean engineering.; One or more years of relevant work or internship experience, including laboratory or equivalent hands-on experience.

Nice to have

Hands-on approach with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.; Proven problem-solving skills and self-starter attitude.; Knowledge of part design and testing, and strong mechanical aptitude.; Knowledge of CAD, FEA, injection molding, machining, and computer programming.
