Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in Power Transformer design (up to 50 MVA, 132kV class) . The candidate will be responsible for detailed mechanical design, preparation of fabrication drawings, BOM, and ensuring compliance with international standards and customer specifications.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities; A. Design & Engineering; Mechanical design of Power Transformers (up to 50 MVA, 132kV); Preparation of:; General Arrangement (GA) drawings; Fabrication & manufacturing drawings; Bill of Materials (BOM); Design of key components:; Transformer tank, cover & radiators; Conservator & oil preservation systems; Core clamping structures; Bushing arrangements & support structures; B. Technical Coordination; Coordinate with:; Electrical Design Team; Production & Manufacturing; Quality Assurance (QA/QC); Procurement & Vendors; Participate in design reviews and technical discussions; Ensure alignment with customer specifications and project requirements; C. Manufacturing & Testing Support; Provide technical support during:; Fabrication & assembly; Inspection & testing (FAT); Resolve design-related issues during production
