Salary Range

Hourly Pay Range: $19.29-20.59 hourly

Additional Compensation: Eligible for quarterly performance bonus based on individual and/or company performance

Responsibilities

Prepare for Patient Visits: Review and update patient records before face-to-face or Telehealth appointments, ensuring all recent test results and correspondence are up-to-date.; Maintain Exam Rooms: Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits, adhering to infection control standards.; Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for their visit and notify the physician or mid-level provider when they are ready to be seen.; Initial Medical Screening: Greet patients, take vital signs, and document basic medical history accurately.; Assist During Exams: Support physicians or mid-level providers during patient examinations.; Efficient Use of Time: Restock supplies, check inventory, and keep all areas clean and orderly.

Requirements

Communication Skills: Excellent ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and document information accurately. High degree of diplomacy and tact.; Technical Skills: Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills.; Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to various job duties and cross-train within other departments.; Multi-tasking: Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.; Cultural Sensitivity: Experience working with diverse populations.; Professionalism: Knowledge of “Universal Precautions” and adherence to HIPAA standards.; Language Skills: Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages is a plus.; Driver’s License: Valid State Driver’s License preferred.; High school diploma or GED required.; Current, valid Certification of Medical Assistant, required.; Current, valid CPR certification.
