Medical Waste Containers - Plant Operator 2nd Shift (1pm-9:00pm) - 6760

We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Fresno, CA. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave. The ideal Plant Operator is an individual who likes variety in their work and can think through practical problems.

Responsibilities

Checking in containers; double checking paperwork; moving/unloading specific waste containers; operating a forklift to load an autoclave; weighing incoming sharps and regulated medical waste containers using the Weighbridge; loading/operating the autoclave machine; loading the Washsmart sanitization system; driving a forklift and operating hand trucks once trained; providing attention to detail with paperwork; standing for extended periods; working well with a team

Requirements

Can-do attitude; committed to efficient, timely scheduling; previous experience in a labor-intensive job; proven longevity with employers; likes variety in their work; able to think through practical problems; ability to stand for extended periods; ability to lift 55lbs and push a four-wheeled cart weighing up to 200lbs; attention to detail; ability to work well with a team
