MHC/LMHC Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking Mental Health Counselors and Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our growing team of Mental Health Therapists practicing in the division of Community Psychiatry. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families while working alongside a highly collaborative team of psychiatrists, social workers, psychologists, nurses, and other behavioral health professionals.

Responsibilities

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families; work alongside a highly collaborative team of psychiatrists, social workers, psychologists, nurses, and other behavioral health professionals; support clinical excellence, professional growth, and innovation in patient care; help adults and children overcome barriers that impact their mental health and recovery; address a wide range of clinical, social, and environmental needs through community-focused care

Requirements

Master's degree from a Counsel for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP) accredited program with major coursework in mental health counseling required; NYS licensure as a mental health practitioner (e.g., Mental Health Counselor, Creative Arts Therapist) upon hire; If licensure has not been obtained upon employment, an active limited permit or submitted application to the NYS Department of Education upon hire required; With limited permit, NYS licensure as a mental health practitioner is required within 36 months of hire
