New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) – Advanced Heart Failure Cardiac Unit

7B is a 19-bed advanced heart failure intermediate cardiac unit, including 14 high-acuity beds designed to support critically ill patients requiring a progressive level of care. Our staffing model allows for a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in high-acuity settings. We provide specialized care for complex cardiac patients, including those requiring invasive hemodynamic monitoring (PA/Swan-Ganz catheters), Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs), pre and post–heart transplant management, bedside sustained low-efficiency dialysis (SLED), and inotropic therapy management. 7B teammates play a key role not only in acute care but also in the long-term management of advanced cardiac devices.

Responsibilities

Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
