Operations Manager | Monarto Safari Resort

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Monarto Safari Resort. This role is a wonderful opportunity for a hospitality professional who prioritises guest experience and luxury service, and who is committed to creating lasting memories for every visitor.

Responsibilities

Lead the properties operational activities with a strong focus on enhancing guest experiences and satisfaction; Collaborate closely with department leaders to ensure seamless service across all areas of the resort; Set performance benchmarks that align with our luxury hospitality standards and commit to continuous improvement; Implement and uphold safety protocols and security measures for both guests and staff; Address operational challenges with empathy and professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction; Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and personal growth; Maintain open communication with senior leadership to align operational goals and strategies

Requirements

Proven leadership experience in hotel operations, with an emphasis on guest-focused service; Strong understanding of financial management; Ability to create a collaborative and supportive environment for your team; Extensive experience in hotel/resort operations in a leadership role; A hands-on approach with the ability to work across multiple departments; Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences; Ability to motivate, coach, and support a diverse team; Strong financial acumen and the ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining quality standards; Excellent organisational skills, with a focus on creating a personalised guest experience while managing competitive priorities; A collaborative and approachable leadership style that inspires teamwork and trust; Knowledge of hotel operations and property management systems; Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate; Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
