Operator I - Packaging Machine

This role is in support of American Health Packaging, a Cencora business offering pharma packaging services in the US.

Responsibilities

Verify and prepare repackaging material and equipment for production run; Responsible for packaging machine setup/changeovers for production runs, including following work instructions and SOPs; Responsible for operating packaging equipment, troubleshooting and making adjustments in accordance with work standards; following escalation protocol when troubleshooting fails; Responsible for repackaging raw material into finished product within packaging specifications and quality standards; Responsible for working alongside maintenance when escalation is needed for a mechanical issue; Responsible for production room and equipment cleans/sanitation; Thorough understanding of batch record information and use of basic mathematical skills to record accurate information; Responsible for being actively engaged in all technical training and compliance training; Adheres to all cGMPs, safety regulations and Standard Operating Procedures; Maintains good housekeeping throughout the shift in work areas; Works as a team member with other operations team members to meet quality and production goals; Active participant in continuous improvement activities; Works in partnership with supporting areas such as quality to resolve issues; Performs related duties as assigned

Requirements

Completion of a high school diploma OR GED; Ability to read, write and understand English for reading documents, product labels and instructions; good written skills for completing compliance documentation; Basic mathematical skills; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team based environment; Strong organizational skills and detail orientation; Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions; Basic problem solving capabilities for troubleshooting production issues; Ability to work overtime when needed

Nice to have

Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
