Outside Services Attendant

The Outside Services Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to members and guests at the club. This position supports the golf operations team by assisting with essential outside services, such as bag handling, cart preparation, range operations, and maintaining the cleanliness of work areas. The attendant is responsible for staging and storing golf carts, ensuring they are clean, functional, and ready for use. Additionally, the role involves providing various golf-related services, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all golfers.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to members and guests at the club; Support golf operations team with bag handling, cart preparation, range operations, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas; Stage and store golf carts, ensuring they are clean, functional, and ready for use; Provide various golf-related services; Assist golfers by loading and unloading bags, preparing them for play, answering questions, offering golf course etiquette suggestions, and providing post-round support; Promote club events, course conditions, and relevant information; Marshal carts in the staging area, assign them to players, track usage, and ensure carts are cleaned and inspected; Maintain cleanliness and organization of cart barn, storage areas, practice facilities, and external spaces; Set up and manage practice areas with equipment such as range balls; Collaborate with golf operations staff to ensure efficient service; Complete daily assignments in designated areas.

Requirements

Primarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity; Sitting, standing, walking, climbing/ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs., talking, hearing, and seeing; Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule; Flexibility to work additional hours as needed; Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required.

Nice to have

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; Prior experience in a similar role or strong knowledge of golf; Strong communication skills; Strong knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices; Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding service; High attention to detail and reliability.
