Paramedic - Mobile Integrated Health - Winston-Salem

Responsibilities

Respects patient rights and confidentiality and complies with HIPAA; Provides accurate and legible documentation of patient care; Provides quality patient care and education in accordance with Mobile Medicine policies; Interprets data, reads monitors, and responds with correct intervention; Participates in Mobile Medicine Performance Improvement activities; Administers medications and IV solutions safely; Maintains flexibility with vehicle assignments; Maintains clean environment and vehicles in mission ready status; Integrates technology for patient assessment and data collection; Maintains understanding of ethics and cultural competency; Maintains understanding of reimbursement payer model; May require day, night, weekend, and on-call work

Requirements

Paramedic Certification or Associate's degree in Paramedicine; 1-3 years of full-time experience either in a 911 system functioning at the paramedic level of practice or 1-3 years of full-time experience in a comprehensive emergency department; NC and SC State Paramedic License (SC only required in CLT markets); Basic Life Support; Advanced Cardiac Life Support; Pediatric Advanced Life Support; Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record; Ability to drive vehicles safely in all weather; Knowledge of healthcare, EMS systems, and local, state, and federal regulations; Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance; Must have intact sense of sight, hearing, smell and touch and good finger dexterity; Good motor and eye-hand coordination; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including speaking English in good, understandable terms

Nice to have

National Registry preferred within 1 year of hire; Certified Community Paramedic preferred within 1 year of hire
