Part time X-ray outpatient center

Determination of appropriate radiological technique and position for patient using immobilization and support devices. Operation of advanced and sophisticated radiology equipment. Adherence to all accepted safety standards and practices to ensure patient safety and quality patient care. Coordination of quality control tasks. Provision of instruction and orientation to new technologists to effectively participate in the assessment of their performance reviews.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited AMA School of Radiology; IDNS license; 1-3 years experience as a general radiographer; Knowledge of Health Information System; Basic knowledge of radiology equipment; Certified in radiology and registered by ARRT; CPR certification; Licensed by IDNS; Able to make independent professional decisions pertaining to high quality patient care; High degree of technical skills; Must be able to function with minimal assistance in performing job activities; Ability to deal with extremely ill patients; Ability to lift and/or move patients; Ability to work under stressful conditions, in difficult situations; Ability to work rotating shifts during Centers hours of operation
