Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; Follow and promote all company customer service programs; Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in merchandise selection; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent phone service, look up parts, quote prices, recommend premium and related items, offer Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain cash drawer, process transactions, exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, including freight receiving, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning; Prepare returns, assist with stock adjustments and inventory counts; Operate brake lathe and store test equipment after training; Perform in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, scanning vehicle trouble codes; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle for deliveries when business needs dictate

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
