Paving Foreman

We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Foreperson to lead a surfacing crew delivering essential infrastructure projects. If you're a hands-on leader who enjoys being out on site, supporting your team, and getting the job done safely and efficiently, this could be the opportunity for you. As Foreperson, you'll be responsible for leading daily surfacing operations, coordinating crews, managing resources, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Lead daily surfacing operations; Coordinate crews; Plan and schedule daily workflow; Manage plant, materials, and resources; Maintain high safety and quality standards; Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders; Drive productivity and team performance

Requirements

Experience in asphalt surfacing or road maintenance; Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; A practical, hands-on approach to leadership; Commitment to health and safety best practice; Excellent communication and teamwork skills; Class 2 License and WTR endorsement; Current right to work in New Zealand; Pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening; Criminal background checks
