Pediatrician

Cortica is seeking a part time Pediatrician to join its growing multi-disciplinary team in Irvine, CA. The pediatrician will provide medical care to patients with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary clinical team. Cortica is a rapidly growing healthcare company pioneering treatment methods for children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, in-person and via telehealth, to pediatric and adult patients within Cortica's patient population; Perform all required patient care activities, including history, exam, clinical decision-making, order entry, referrals, and documentation; Meet productivity standards and the expected ratio of new patient visits to follow-up visits; Complete clinical documentation with 80% of encounters completed the same day and 100% within two business days; Communicate patient care plans to medical assistants face-to-face after each appointment and respond to patient-care needs within two business days; Attend and actively participate in clinical meetings (Rounds, Case Collaboration, Medical Faculty, etc.); Lead, present, and teach at Weekly Rounds; Sustain a patient caseload that meets productivity expectations; Meet expected standards for patient experience, teammate experience, and patient outcomes based on Whole Child Scorecard; Other duties, as assigned

Requirements

Four years of medical school from an accredited university; 3+ years of U.S. based residency training in pediatrics; Board eligible/certified in pediatrics; Hold and can maintain an unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
