Physician - Neurohospitalist - Neurologist

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Neurology, is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join a premier, mission-driven team dedicated to delivering the highest quality of patient care. In this role, you will diagnose and manage a diverse range of acute neurological disorders within the inpatient setting. Candidates also have the flexibility to integrate clinical teaching and research into their practice according to their professional interests.

Responsibilities

Provide care for neurology patients in the inpatient setting; Diagnose, treat, and manage complex neurological cases within the hospital; Participate in on-call coverage; Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through formal instruction and bedside clinical rounds; Engage in scholarly activity and clinical research

Requirements

MD/DO degree; Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency program; Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Neurology; Eligible for medical licensure in both Kansas and Missouri
