PRN Infusion Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Join IVX Health as a Nurse Practitioner! PRN Nurse Practitioner | Day Shift | Shifts available Monday - Saturday. Locations: Flatiron Infusion Center, Upper West Side Infusion Center, and Upper East Side Infusion Center. IVX Health is seeking an NP to provide high-quality, specialized infusion therapy in an outpatient setting. As a Nurse Practitioner at IVX Health, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering personalized, compassionate care to patients. With your expertise in infusion therapy, you’ll oversee patient care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and providers.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care with on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections; Conduct patient assessments, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses; Educate and support patients and families through treatment expectations, side effects, and disease management; Ensure compliance and quality by maintaining records in EHR, reviewing nursing documentation, and upholding HIPAA and OSHA standards; Optimize clinical workflows with chart preparation and treatment planning; Collaborate with healthcare teams and referring providers; Support operations and training, including inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence; Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed; Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Active and Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license; Registered Nurse (RN) license if required by the state; Board Certification (AANP or ANCC) required; BLS certification required; Ability to care for both adults and pediatrics; Strong IV and infusion therapy skills, including specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols; Proficiency in clinical documentation with EHR systems and understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance; Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

PALS certification; Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting; Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
