Responsibilities

The Process Engineering intern participates in the mechanical and process design/documentation of water and wastewater treatment systems.; You will spend time in production, interviewing operators about their jobs and needs; You will take detailed notes and will help develop procedures that will be used for training; Document the complete regeneration process—procedures, decision points, and best practices; Create training materials (manuals, SOPs, visual guides); Conduct initial training sessions with plant staff to validate accuracy; Establish foundation for ongoing knowledge management

Requirements

Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical discipline.; Strong organizational and communication skills.; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.; Good technical writing and oral communication skills.; Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team and department projects.; Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks at hand.; Strong mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail; Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety procedures is a plus.
