Product Owner

SpryPoint builds fantastic web and mobile applications using cutting-edge technologies. As a Product Owner at SpryPoint, you will play a key role in working with our customers and product teams in managing product backlog to execute the product roadmap for: SpryCIS (Customer Information System), SpryBackflow or SpryMobile. You will also develop expertise in our industry, our products, and our users and play an active role in the education and enablement of our user community.

Responsibilities

Facilitating discovery sessions with both internal and external stakeholders to refine existing product features and uncover new features; Managing and evaluating product ideas from multiple sources both internal and external; Facilitating feedback loops throughout the development cycle to ensure ideas translate to valuable products; Working closely with a Development Team Lead to ensure the successful delivery of product; Engaging with Service Delivery on specific project requirements and influencing customer transition timelines; Supporting the Development team through the SCRUM sprint cycles; Liaising with Customer Success to identify patterns and trends in customer issues and enhancement requests; Providing demonstrations of products to internal and external stakeholders; New feature education to support user enablement, both internal and external to customers; Collaborating on the definition of product management processes and best practices, and internal education around them; Collaborating with the Product Manager on the definition of objectives and key results for product lines; Collaborating with the product management team on Quality Management practices through the design, develop and release cycles; Providing forecasts on when items will be available in the product; Supporting the sales process for estimating quotable development work; Collaborating with business development on responses to RFPs and Statement of Work documents

Requirements

Thorough and detail-oriented; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent context switching, shifting priorities, and the ability to prioritize effectively; Positive, creative and curious; Understanding of system design & analysis; Strong B2B product and business experience, including working directly with enterprise customers and cross-functional stakeholders; Thrive on working closely and collaborating with others, internal to the firm or directly with customers
