Product Specialist for Skywise (Core MRO)

SKYWISE provides integrated solutions that drive operational efficiency, enhance safety, and support business growth for airlines and the aerospace industry worldwide. The Product Specialist – Skywise Core acts as the domain expert and functional product owner dedicated to the Skywise Core ecosystem, serving independent, affiliated, and integrated MROs, as well as airline maintenance divisions via the MRO Option for Core. The Specialist acts as the primary translator between complex MRO operational requirements and the underlying platform technology.

Responsibilities

Translate MRO pain points from Customer Experience teams and MRO clients into clear technical product requirements; Assess whether customer requirements and customized maintenance workflows can be supported by the Skywise data lake, MRO Data Ontology framework, and platform architecture; Lead live technical product demonstrations and discovery workshops with MRO leadership, Fleet Reliability Managers, and Maintenance Executives; Ensure proposed digital tools and data workflows adhere to data privacy, security standards, and aviation regulatory requirements (EASA/FAA); Prioritize MRO features and product enhancements based on operational impact and platform readiness; Define requirements for ingesting and structuring MRO data sources into the Skywise Ontology; Partner with Product Managers to package, bundle, and position MRO offers; Define and track KPIs translating platform usage into MRO business outcomes; Build, refine, and own Epic Dossiers for MRO features and guide Software Factory development; Validate algorithm outputs, predictive models, and simulation digital twins; Establish closed-loop feedback processes with field users; Support customer onboarding and deployment programs; Ensure integration with legacy MRO systems via BI Connectors, Webhooks, and RESTful APIs; Promote and govern secure Collaboration Projects/Spaces; Represent the Skywise Core MRO product line at industry events and publish thought leadership content; Act as functional coach for internal product managers and commercial teams; Conduct benchmarking and market intelligence on MRO digital software providers

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience of at least 5 years) in Engineering, Aviation/Aeronautics, Computer Science, or Information Technology; Minimum 2 years of customer-facing experience with Airlines, MROs, or OEM technical operations; In-depth knowledge of digital maintenance operations, fleet health monitoring, reliability engineering, line/base maintenance planning, and shop floor logistics; Demonstrated understanding of data analytics, ontology data modeling, low-code/no-code application development, or enterprise digital platforms; Familiarity with AI assistance tools, predictive algorithms, and dynamic simulation environments applied to operational challenges; Ability to drive internal drumbeats, manage project deliverables, adhere to contractual commitments, and maintain product consistency; Proficient in change management; Excellent communication skills with experience holding technical and commercial discussions with MRO Heads, VPs of Maintenance, and IT Directors; Capable of creating a strong and trustful customer relationship and managing customer expectations; Proactive and good organizational skills; Good team player, able to collaborate in cross-functional and remote teams; Curious and open-minded for change and continuous improvement; English Advanced level (written and spoken)
