Job Summary

Production Associate 1 performs entry-level assembly and/or glass production of Windows & Doors. Follows well-defined standard works with guidance and oversight. Collaborates with experienced teammates to develop new skills. Meets safety, quality, and on-time delivery standards while minimizing waste and cost. Meets production targets while maintaining production flow.

Responsibilities

Follow safe practices and wear required PPE at all times.; Fabricate, assemble, and lift window and/or door units.; Work to an established production rate.; Identify problems and communicate issues.; Perform housekeeping duties in designated work areas.; Assist with training co-workers.; Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by leadership.

Requirements

Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English and follow established work processes.; Ability to safely move materials and operate hand and power tools as needed.; Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.; Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime or weekends, as needed.; Manufacturing and tape measure experience preferred.; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for extended periods.; Frequent walking, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting, and using repetitive motion.; Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with typical manufacturing conditions.; Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
