Production Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations and drive performance across the production team. This hands-on role requires strong leadership skills and experience within blown film extrusion, with a focus on productivity, quality, continuous improvement and team.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of Team Leaders and Operators across shift; Drive performance through KPI monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives; Review and update SOPs, training plans and operator competency standards; Work closely with Engineering and OEMs to maximise machine performance and reliability; Support raw material planning and ordering, including polymers and blends; Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and environmental standards across production

Requirements

Proven experience within blown film extrusion; 5+ years’ production management experience; Strong KPI monitoring and performance management experience; Continuous Improvement knowledge (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma or similar); Experience training, developing and coaching production teams
