Production Shift Manager

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that’s quality is recognised as second to none. Due to exciting plans for 2026 they are looking for a Production Shift Manager to join their Senior Management Team.

Responsibilities

Overseeing all production and managing the section leaders; Developing and communicate long term visibility of requirements throughout the lifecycle of the product; Overseeing, scheduling, and forecasting of planning activities, overseeing procurement and ensuring that purchasing is cost effective; Interface between internal and external stakeholders; Provide leadership and direction to all direct reports and ensure objectives are met; Support introduction of new manufacturing processes and ensuring best practice is shared in the group

Requirements

Strong engineering or manufacturing background with multiple process lines; Experience of people management including performance management, training and development; Green Belt 6 Sigma; Process improvement knowledge
