Production Technician / Selector

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Production Technician / Selector. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a strong technical mindset, and is eager to grow within a fast-paced industrial environment.

The Production Technician / Selector will

- Visually inspect ware and remove defective items to ensure quality standards are met.
- Set up ware on lehrs and conveyors, dislodge ware on straight-line equipment, and adjust carton flow on conveyors as needed.
- Monitor and tend to case packer/robot systems to ensure proper operation and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Inspect ware on filled case conveyor, fill cartons as needed, and verify carton gluing and appearance meet specifications.
- Occasionally hand-pack ware and reselect packed ware based on quality control instructions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.; High School diploma or GED required.; Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working with automated equipment.; Safety-focused mindset with attention to detail.; Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.; Willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the company.; Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly.; Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Nice to have

Familiarity with basic troubleshooting of mechanical or robotic systems.; Experience working with conveyors, packaging machinery, or automated equipment.; Ability to follow technical instructions and adapt to changing production needs.
