Program Manager - Finland

As a Mission Program Manager, you'll deliver a complex Satellite Mission program end-to-end, ensuring customer success, on-time execution, and scalable delivery excellence. You will ensure the full lifecycle of customer missions, from contract execution through delivery, acting as the central orchestrator across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams. Department: Missions Programs. Reports to: VP, Missions Programme Management. Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required).

Responsibilities

Deliver assigned Satellite Mission programs on time, within budget, and to agreed performance standards; Build and maintain trusted, long-term customer relationships, acting as the primary interface throughout program execution and supporting Customer Success Management activities; Establish and drive clear program plans (scope, milestones, resources, financials) aligned with internal and customer objectives; Identify, manage, and resolve risks, dependencies, and escalations to ensure uninterrupted program delivery; Orchestrate cross-functional execution across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams; Support the implementation of scalable program management practices that improve delivery reliability and efficiency across Missions; Establish effective reporting structure and communication channels and mechanisms to ensure timely and accurate information flow among program team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership

Requirements

5–10 years' experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs in advanced technology environments (e.g. space, defence, telecom, automotive, IT); Strong customer-facing capability, including managing senior stakeholders and complex requirements; Proven leadership of cross-functional teams to deliver aligned outcomes; Expertise in end-to-end program management (planning, execution, governance across scope, schedule, budget, and risk); Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in uncertain environments; Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences; Proven Customer Success capabilities; Degree in business, engineering, or a related field; Fluent Finnish language skills; Must have or be able to get Finnish security clearance

Nice to have

Experience working on satellite or similarly complex system programs; Experience with governmental or defense customers; Knowledge of hardware, software, or embedded systems development; Experience in product development environments; Master's degree in business, engineering, or a relevant field; PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
