PT- Ticket Taker at Albuquerque Convention Center

Under general direction collects tickets, greet and assist guests at events including answering questions that arise. This position represents the facility with outstanding friendly custom service greeting and assisting guest at events. Will also assist guests answering questions that arise and will report problems or concerns to appropriate department.

Responsibilities

Receive all guests with outstanding friendly customer service; Answer general questions about the arena and provide assistance when needed; Assist Event Manager when needed; Verify date of tickets and authenticity of passes; Take and tear tickets; Separate tickets according to types; Inform guests of rules and regulations regarding items prohibited in the Convention Center; Refuse admittance to guests without a ticket; Report problems or concerns to appropriate department; All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Great customer service skills; A positive attitude; Willingness to learn and work in a team atmosphere; Ability to greet guests in a friendly manner and be professional at all times; Ability to stay calm under pressure; Ability to use radio devices; Ability to work in a fast paced diverse environment; Strong verbal and interpersonal skills; Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form; Flexibility and ability to adjust to situations as they occur; Ability to stand and/or walk for hours at a time; Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekend and/or holidays as needed
